Quân đội Ukraine cho biết họ đã bắt đầu một cuộc phản công chống lại các lực lượng Nga ở phía nam và đã tuyên bố những tiến bộ đáng kể theo hướng Kherson.

Serhii Hlan, một phó của hội đồng khu vực Kherson, cho biết hôm thứ Bảy, các lực lượng Ukraine "tiếp tục các hoạt động tấn công và đẩy lùi đối phương 9 km (5 dặm) trong quận Beryslav."

Hlan cũng tuyên bố rằng các đơn vị Ukraine "đã chia nhóm địch thành hai phần và thực sự bao vây nhóm địch ở Davidiv Brid."
